Are you looking for a job in housekeeping or cleaning? At Hotel de Boei in Egmond aan Zee, you will work in a small team. You have your own responsibilities and, together with your colleagues, make sure the entire hotel is clean and well looked after.

A large part of your job involves cleaning hotel rooms and apartments. You make beds, clean bathrooms, vacuum and mop floors and replenish towels and other supplies. But in a smaller hotel, the job is not limited to guest rooms. If linen needs to be restocked, the reception area or hallway needs vacuuming or the area outside needs sweeping, you simply take care of that too.

It is a physical job that keeps you active throughout your shift. Housekeeping experience is not required. We will train you on the job.

What will you do?

• Clean hotel rooms and apartments.
• Change bed linen, make beds, clean bathrooms and sanitary facilities and replenish towels and other supplies.
• Restock linen and supplies.
• Keep common areas such as hallways and the reception area clean and tidy.
• Report any issues or problems you notice.

Work that fits your schedule

Shifts are usually between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM, so you will normally finish work by the end of the afternoon. Our housekeeping employees work an average of 16 to 30 hours per week.

Because we work with a small team, it is important that we can rely on each other. We therefore ask you to be available to work at least one day during the weekend.

• A gross hourly salary starting from €14.99, depending on your age, knowledge and experience.

Working at Hotel de Boei

Hotel de Boei is located in the heart of Egmond aan Zee, close to the beach. It is a compact hotel with a personal and informal working atmosphere.

The team is small, communication is direct and everyone has their own responsibilities. You are given the freedom to work independently, while colleagues are always there to help each other when needed.

Hotel de Boei is part of Hotel in Egmond. Our group consists of nine hotels and apartment complexes in Egmond aan Zee and Wijk aan Zee, with around 370 employees in total.

At Hotel de Boei, however, your day-to-day work remains small-scale and personal: you work at your own location with your own small team. At the same time, being part of a larger hotel group gives you more opportunities to develop your skills or grow into another role in the future.

Who are you?

• You are hands-on and enjoy being physically active.
• You enjoy working as part of a team and help your colleagues when needed.
• You enjoy working in a hotel environment and understand the importance of hospitality.
• You are available to work at least one day during the weekend.
• · You speak Dutch and/or English.
• · You are legally entitled to work in the Netherlands. If a work permit is required, you must already have a valid permit.
